A Hair Washin'

While we are on the subject of hair. I have decided to start washing my hair every other day. I'm hoping (and I'm hearing online) that it will give me better texture and won't strip so much out of my hair. 

It's not gonna be easy to do it but from what I have read if I can stick to it for a few weeks then I will love my hair the second day. 

If my head looks like a big grease ball the next few weeks. Please ignore me while I drip away! ;-) 

 

According the the blog post from the girl above she has been doing it for a while and loves it. So....here we go friends!

The Statement Necklace

 One of my most favorite trends right now is the a BIG statement necklace! The bigger the better for me. A statement necklace adds flair to a cute, fun or plain top! The best part you can wear them anywhere and everywhere!

 The key to necklace buying is...look at what's popular at JCrew...then go on Ebay and search for the same necklace! A necklace at JCrew that costs $75 or more you can get on Ebay (usually from China) for under $10.00. LOVE IT!

Mixin' and Matchin'

Thank you girls for all your suggestions on post! I had a good response! Let's dive right in, shall we!!

 

One of the biggest trends this year is mixin and matchin! Something scary, I know, but honestly anything goes with this trend!

 

I love the first pic with the ginghan and polka dots! SO CUTE! I may have to try to replicate that this spring!

Another cute looks...may have to try this look out also! I also love how she threw in the green clutch! Great pop of color!

One word for this outfit...adorable! This one isn't so mix and match as the others...it would be a good place to test the waters!

I'm not sure I would wear this outfit...but her mix and match works well!

 

 

 I found this pic of me mixin and matchin polka dots with stripes!!

 And here I'm mixin plaid with leopard print shoes...this is seriously my favorite outfit right now! Plus look at that sweet boy next to me...he makes the pic people...and I'm not talking about Santa! ;-)

 

Another fun thing to do is mix and match at home! I LOVE this. We are about to paint our entire house and when we are done I'm going to mix and match some amazing pillows! I have been eyeing some for a while now. I have decided I need to mix and match more at home. 

In this pic they mix and matched gingham and stripes! SO CUTE! LOVE this room!!

 

Another good example of mix and match at home! I want this bedroom! So fun, bright and cheery!

 

The key to this trend is have fun with it...if you put something on and it looks hidious, it probably doesn't. (Send me a pic, I'll let you know how it looks) ;-)
